With the vision of developing a patient- and family-centered care model, under high quality standards, Médico Express San Isidro entered into an important knowledge transfer agreement with the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, an iconic high-complexity Colombian university hospital, internationally accredited and a benchmark of excellence in Latin America.
Santo Domingo. Médico Express San Isidro, is the first outpatient health center under construction of a future network of interconnected medical institutions distributed in different parts of the national geography.
The innovative medical center made an inter-institutional agreement signed by its founding partner and executive president Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso and by the director of education and knowledge management of the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, Roosevelt Fajardo, to promote the exchange of experiences, development of protocols, as well as continuous improvement programs, training and rotations through medical, nursing, technology and administrative areas, which constitutes an accolade to strengthen and internationalize Dominican medicine.
Felipe Amador, general director of Advanced Asset Management and representative of the investors of Médico Express, affirmed that this agreement develops a collaborative synergy with the successful experience of more than 50 years of the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, which will allow the implementation of innovative management and sustainable, favoring a balance between medical services, installed capacity, state-of-the-art technology and the best clinical and administrative practices.
Roosevelt Fajardo expressed that since its creation, the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation has been in the permanent search for the generation of superior value, that is, for the best results that exceed the expectations of patients, family members, caregivers, students, researchers and allies.
This is why working hand in hand with new strategic projects such as Médico Express, reflect the foundation’s interest in the transfer of knowledge and best practices that allow for a positive impact on the health of the region.
Present at the signing of the agreement were Francesco Fino, commercial vice president and founding partner of Médico Express, Pedro Duboq, representative of Lazul Inversiones, the directors of the Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation, Dr. Martha Ortiz, Dr. Omar Salamanca, Dr. Diana Duarte, Arch. Emilio Quintero, Mr. Fernando Melo and Mr. Javier Puentes, on behalf of Advanced Asset Management Lic. Carlos Ruiz and Mariana Reynoso, as well as José Alberto Hernández and Vilma Mejía, directors of the Unique Foundation, among others.
